Th only thing I know about Ravens in legends is Native Americans looked to them as "tricksters." But I feel very connected to them in a gutteral sense. Don't ask me why. You'll see them come up a lot in my large paintings and again in my illustrations here. I find them to be magical, mythical beings. To me they're my protectors and elders. A "chime bird" is an infant toy: a large heavy plastic bird that wobbles and makes a charming chiming sound when it does so.
