Drawing of the day...two days ago.

I got a little sketchbook at my conference and it's my goal to make a drawing a day about my day.

This was my experience at the conference on Saturday. I heard Robert Root-Bernstein speak. He is a science professor and researcher at MSU who talked about how art and science are related. It was very exciting and inspirational.

Then the other elements of my day are much more self-explanatory...in the drawing at least.

Well, it is my goal to write a graphic novel. These characters may not make the cut, but I am preparing for my characters, so enjoy my sketches.

Comic Faces

I'm thinking about doing a huge piece of paper like this even though this small one took forever and was not too fun to do. I like how it looks.

This was a theme I gave my students to create a drawing around this past quarter, so I thought I would do it too.
