Things I Learned in Senior Math...Useful? Useless?

Things I learned in Senior Math have been useful in "Real Life."

My teacher taught me how to create tessellations. Yay Math! This may be the only thing from that class that applies to my life in art however, and it has taken me several years to realize that I did learn something life-long and valuable from all subjects in school.

I Do A Lot of Driving...

I do a lot of driving to and from work, so I see a lot of bumper stickers. I am fascinated by the people with Jesus or Bush bumper stickers that are talking on their cell phones and then cut me off.

Then later I always see the Jesus fish and the Darwin fish swimming around on the expressways, and parkways together. I wondered what would happen if I put them together in a design (Let's just say I am a (cynical) Christian who believes in an old earth.) (Jesus was a radical.)

I have made a t-shirt out of this, so if you see it walking around...it's me.
