India Ink and Charcoal

So far the goal I have of working with my students this year is going well. We have done some expressive little india ink drawings, and charcoal still-life drawings in black and white.

This is my still-life scanned in grayscale and color.

I made my students use hatching, cross-hatching, and stippling so I did as well (mine is a little weak on the stippling,) but I would have loved to blend it a bit. (We're doing blending later in the year.)





I'm always interested in looking at what the computer does to art.
